It didn't take much for the strange looking Na'vi to run to the water's edge. In all honesty, she tried her hardest to ignore its beck and call. Before she landed near the area on her Ikran, Kiyeri had to force herself to focus on flying to her destination, lest she want to crash land into the sea.
Hi'i, the green and blue male Ikran squawked at her once more, not wanting to leave without her permission. Kiyeri was devoted to the creator as it was to her. She nearly cried when she finally saw him fly away. She immediately went for the sea after that; stumbling and nearly tripping on the rocks until she finally landed safely on the sand.
Crouching down to look into the water she smiled back at her reflection, "Bright orange eyes and white teeth! She's beautiful." she marveled at the watery image of herself before diving a hand down. She dipped her tongue into the handful of sea water, "Aiyiee! Bitter!" Kiyeri spat. The water was not good for drinking, she decided, but it was beautiful.
Her tail snaked behind her as she walked along the shore, her eyes still curious and wandering. Yes, she was aware of there being others here, but she saw no one...yet. Like herself, her mind began to wander as well, not really focusing on her surroundings.

Out of the surf emerged a Na'vi. Soaking wet, but with hair that seemed to defy the moisture, as the crest rose like a comb along the top of his otherwise shaved head. He wore fairly little, just a lion cloth and forearm bracers, and carried a pair of spears in his left hand. From his left hip hung a sack that dribbled sea water as the warrior strode onto the shore not too far ahead of the way the displaced female was walking.
He noticed her approach but didn't seem to surprised by the event. He walked up to where the sands gave way to earth and stone, sat down on a rock, and pulled something green and squishy from the sack that he unwound and opened. He crunched the firm inner flesh as she got closer, watching her with eyes that were gold tinged with burnished bronze. Silently studying her, mostly to see if she would stop or walk on by.
Out in the surf something large stirred the waters beyond the breakers, a massive black fin slashing the sea and the air, before vanishing back into the waters as the beast the fin belonged to dived into the dark depths.

She stopped for a moment, her face still focused on the direction she was walking before. Kiyeri never noticed him before she saw his figure peripherally and even then, it took her brain a few seconds to register that she wasn't the only one there. He was bigger than her, (of course) but it wasn't just his build that showed this, it was his stance, and the fact that he seemed a bit unfriendly. That didn't dissipate her from trying to speak to him.
Kiyeri being the eccentric that she is, decided to spring up a happy, "Hello!" complete with a bright smile and an eagerness to be near the water. "Are you from here? I just arrived here! I'm from the horse clan, the Tultxayo. This is also my first time here, I've heard so many stories about this place from others who came here. It's beautiful!" Her one-sided conversation came out in a gush of energy and happiness. Her cheery demeanor came out in her body language and words, she seemed to be as comfortable as speaking to a family member, instead of a complete stranger.
She gasped, she almost forgot, "Kiyeri. My name, it's Kiyeri. Or Kiy. Or 'yeri, or anything you'd like, really."

He took another bite out of the sea succulent, masticating the crunchy bright green flesh as she rattled off her her greeting and introduction as fast as the Blood Fang swims. He instantly pegged her for an outsider, locals made sure they stayed clear of the surf, as there were any number of amphibious predators that delighted in snatching the unwary from the edge of the surf.
He wiped his lips with the back of his left hand, the tangy juice of the Rock Jelly sticking to his mouth, and then reached down and fished another of the slime covered sea plants from his sack. The oblong tube of dark green twice as long as a Na'vi hand, and looking distinctly phallic.
"I see you sister," he responded in greeting, and then tossed the food stuff toward her. "I am Knife Dancer, Sea Hunter of the Txampay’awkx. Will you share food with me?"

"Oh!" the slimy substance nearly slipped from her hands as she desperately tried to grasp. She finally caught after a few stumbles, but she smiled, triumphant in her clumsy catch. "Knife Dancer. I see you, brother. I will share food with you!"
Examining the green specimen in her hands, she studied it like a scientist with her hands and eyes before she finally took a careful bite. "Good!" the texture was something she never experienced before, but the taste shook her palate which quickly melted into an enjoyable experiment. She made a mental note to find out what exactly he had given her, but for now, she was focused on its taste and the new acquaintance she had made.
"Brother, what is this? It's good!"

The warrior chuckled at her clumsy attempt, more so at her victory in spite of the near fumble, and half-again as much for the sheer physical amusement such a display often entails. He smirked as she bit into the sea succulent, sharing the action with his own, and thus sharing the meal, and his grin widened as she seemed to relish the clan staple.
"It is the Large Green Rock Jelly," he explained as he savored his fruit. "It grows off the tidal zone, where the water is shallow but where there is always enough to cover the rocks. Where the currents run swift and sweep the sands from the rocks below. My clan has long harvested this fruit, that allows the Silver Sea Frond to cling to the exposed rock, to sweeten the meat hunted from the depths."
He paused, ate some more, and looked thoughtful.
"Where is this clan of yours from? I have not heard of them."
