Physical Description:
Zayna has teal skin, with darker teal stripes down the length of her body. Her hair is jet black, typical of any Na'vi. It is very long, down to the little of her back, but she keeps it all braided. She often adds beads or shells to her hair, to give it some flair. She wears a white cloth covering across her chest like a tube top, and her shoulders are covered in something like a shawl, made up of strips of white cloth, sewn to a leather piece that acts as a hem and forms the main shaping. This cloth is white too, and it ties together in the front with a piece of leather.
On her bottom she wears a simple white loincloth, with a belt of white shells. Her tail is wrapped with leather string, and on her wrist she wears a single long leather cord, wrapped around her arms many times, and finally finished off with a simple knot and a shell.
Her neck holds a large necklace, made up of smooth pebbles, painted white. She wears a headdress on her, complete with a sharp bone in the center, and several smaller bones running down the side.
Background:
Zayna was born to Kinsta and Zefanu. Zefanu, her father, was a highly revered member of the clan. A sea hunter. Her mother was not a sea hunter, but a skilled healer, and a skilled hunter. When she was a very young girl, she had the first of some very strange dreams. She immediately went to the current Tsahik and informed her of the dream, only to find that the events in the dream soon came to pass. It was no surprise when, after completing Uniltaron she was selected to train to be the next Tsahik.
All of Zayna's time and abilities went into completing this task. She trained hard in healing, and in Songs. But of course, she could not forget her other duties, and continued to develop her skills as a huntress. After completing Inknimaya, she decided not to attempt to become a Sea Hunter as well. Although she was a skilled huntress and warrior, her opinion was not that the Tsahik was meant to lead wars. The Tsahik, in her opinion, interprets the will of Eywa, and defends her clan when necessary.
Since completeing Iknimaya, she spends most of her time healing others under the current Tsahik's watchful eye, and improving her skills as a huntress. Occasionally, (to learn her role as Tsahik) she leads some of the smaller ceremonies, but for all major ceremonies she watches and learns.
As for a mate, Zayna has not yet taken one. She believes strongly in the traditions of her clan, and her mate will be whomever the next Olo'eytkan will be.
Zayna does not like the sky people. At all. She believes them to be wrongly invading Pandora. She doesn't want to hear what the Skypeople have to say. When the current Olo'eyktan had a public execution of one of the Skypeople, she was there with the Tsahik in full support.
Abilities: Zayna is a particularly skilled healer, able to recall exactly what each ingredient will do on the spot as though she has a guidebook of all medicinal ingredients in her head. She also has had dreams which predicted future events that could devastate the clan, such as massive hurricanes. She claims these dreams are the way Eywa communicates directly with her.
Strengths: Extremely skilled healer. She is also an excellent flyer. Additionally, she rarely has prophetical dreams. She is also an eloquent public speaker, able to rally a crowd.
Weaknesses: She is very stuck in her ways, and does not take criticism very well. She is also hates the sky people to a point of no going back. It is unlikely she will ever change her view of them, unless of some massive freak event. (Such as a Skyperson becoming something like a Toruk Makto, or one of her dreams shows her the skypeople doing good for the Na'vi)
