Physical Description: Sei'Taro is an overly large Na’vi male, standing easily at 11ft. And he certainly has a powerful stature to match his size. He is muscular which accounts for his weight, but still lean enough to move quietly when hunting. He has darker stripes over his body and face like all other Na'vi, though of course the pattern is slightly different when you look closely. Sei'Taro has a large scar that starts at his right shoulder and runs across his chest. This noticeable old injury is from a particularly nasty encounter with a male Thanator when Sei'Taro was 16 years old. He wears a warriors clothes, specifically designed to produce less resistance so he can move quickly. Around his neck he wears a thin leather necklace with a single curved claw attached to it. His hair is tied back into a single, fairly loose braid, unlike a lot of the tribe members tight multiple plaits. Two thin shorter braids hang down in front of his right ear, with beads and a small feather attached to the ties. His right ear has a small notch cut out of it and both of his eyes are a tawny gold colour, with darker amber around the edge.
Background: Sei'Taro was born to a young mated pair, his father also sharing the genetic trait which causes Sei'Taro to be so large today. His parents were inexperienced and had they been alone raising him may have been difficult but with their clans help they managed. It was this that had such and effect on his personality, Sei'Taro grew up very friendly and accepting of those around him. During the time of the great battle when one of his ancestors had been with child, the family had fled from their original home of the Omaticaya clan, and sought solace with the Tultxayo. Sei'Taro would listen eagerly to the tales told of the Omaticaya and how they moved like the creatures of the forest among the trees. His Tultxayo side of the family finally got the better of him at the age of 16 when he sought out to investigate the place his ancestors came from, and alone he crept from the clan while the others were asleep and rode his fathers direhorse in the direction of the forest. It took him longer than he'd expected but his fathers mount was fast. The youngster finally reached the edge of the forest, where he foolishly left the pa'li. The experience of entering the trees was one of mystery, it was darker here and everywhere you looked something moved.
Sei'Taro had traveled fairly far into the forest, looking for signs of the clan, when he realized he could hear something behind him. When he looked around cautiously, he saw nothing following and continued onward. Another few pases and he heard something rush past the foliage at his side. He jumped backward in fear and then heard a loud animal call. From the bushes sprung a mature male thanator, its fan raised and jaws open, showing Sei'Taro it's large teeth. Not knowing how to deal with this creature, as he had never encountered one on the plains, Sei'Taro decided the best thing to do was to run. He attempted this but the agile thanator got ahead of him and backed the Na'vi up against a tree. Sei'Taro drew his knife in an attempt to defend himself, but the beast struck first, cutting a great gash into his chest and knocking the blade from his grasp. It was at this moment his savior appeared, bow in hand and with fire in her eyes. A Na'vi huntress who he would later come to know as Imali'Ka. She used her bow to hit the thanator, rather than hurt it and she rushed the creature as it gave ground to her, responding to its calls and hissing furiously at it, waving her bow and free arm in its direction. It made a swipe for her, but she swiveled past the extended limb and drew her dagger in the instant and cut through the shoulder of the beast. Reluctantly, the thanator sprung away, growling deeply before it left the two not wanting to injure itself further on such pesky prey.
Sei'Taro, being young, had been bedazzled by how fearless the hunter had been. Sei'Taro being injured and bleeding, Imali'Ka had lead him back to the Omaticaya clan where she was from. There the healers had treated him for several days and he'd gotten to know some of the clan while there. Meanwhile one of the scouts of the Tultxayo clan had been sent to find him, and had found the pa'li that Sei'Taro had ridden wandering the edges of the forest. The scout then made their way to the Omaticaya camp where they found Sei'Taro. That night the two left, but not before Imali'Ka gave the young warrior her necklace, to remember her by. It was a thin leather tie with a thanator claw attached to it. Imali'Ka told him it would bring him good luck, and with that Sei'Taro returned to his home. Although he was scolded on return, the clan accepted it that he had felt the need to explore where he had come from. Sei'Taro now remains with the clan and the rest of his life went as normal, and he moves with the Tultxayo on their Nomadic journeys. On occasion he will visit the Omaticaya when they are near the forest, but he is happy to stay with the clan his ancestors chose to seek out.
Abilities: He is an able warrior, and a fearsome foe in a fight due to the power and weight he can put behind his blows. He favors the blade or blunt weapons but where necessary he can use his bow for combat or hunting. This has allowed him to excel as a major warrior figure during confrontation. He has learned over the years how to minimize the sounds of him moving through the forest, which was a vital skill for him to learn as many of the clan suspected he would never be able to hunt well due to his stature. His a very confident pa'li rider, and now he is matched with a large pa'li that can carry his weight Sei'Taro can now fight from his mount.
Strengths: Sei'Taro is most notably a friendly being. He is very generous and will offer help to anyone who he knows needs it. He is courageous and will fight for what he believes in, and also brave enough to stand up for others where most would not. He can be a little out-spoken in this way, and some even criticize the warriors open minded approach. He is easy to talk to and become friends with. Around close friends, Sei'Taro is playful and likes to make them laugh. He is very protective of his clan alone, but perhaps more so with those especially close to him. Sei'Taro is very reliable and trust worthy. It would appear any secret would be safe with him, no matter how dark. Since he is so easy to get along with, Sei'Taro makes a good trader, not to mention his height makes him an obvious and intriguing figure to other Na'Vi.
Weaknesses: Sometimes he can be a little over-ambitions and always tries to prove himself as a worthwhile addition to the clan. In battle, he is a fearless and ferocious beast, looking almost feral. When caught in a fight he will not back down until it is over. Partly due to the large adrenaline rush which reduces the amount of pain he can feel, enabling him to surpass many others. It is this which allows him to excel as a warrior, but in doing so he may sustain more life-threatening injury. It may seem a little ungraceful, but Sei'Taro also has a problem with bumping his head on low-lying objects such as branches and doorways, although embarrassing, no one is without their flaws.
