Physical Description:
Pxan’ok is the typical nine foot Na’vi. His skin is a light blue with darker blue stripes covering his entire body. White dots that glow specifically at night, cover his body as well in the typical pattern for most Na’vi, except there is some variation; mostly sharp angles and edges. His body is the typical lean and slender for a Na’vi male, but being a hunter and a warrior, he has packed on a bit of muscle that is slightly more obvious from the other males.
Ears: Both of his ears are pierced with one hole each and carry bone earrings in the shape of ovals with the upper part of the bone earrings carved out in a perfect circle.
Hair: His hair is in the typical Mohawk style of the Na’vi; tight braids with the sides of the head shaved and part of the top, leaving a strip from the top of the forehead to the back of the head, coming down to the end of the shoulder blades. A bit of his hair is pulled back behind the Mohawk in a bun-type style. His queue hangs lower; about mid thigh. A few strands of hair are beaded with Turquoise and red beads.
Clothing: He wears the typical looking loincloth and mid-drift looking corset, with the corset being made of a darkish, teal-like blue fabric, and the outline of the corset made in black. The bottom is made of a reddish cloth with red and light blue beading on the waist. On his right upper arm rests three beaded bracelets of black beads while the left upper arm rests a band of black cloth woven in criss crossed shapes with black edging. He wears a brown choker made up of light blue beads with two rows of blue beads encircling the choker, and one circular bead sitting in the middle. His tail is also adorned with red cloth straps in a criss cross pattern from the base down to the middle, and on his legs just below the knee rests two black cloth straps; one on each leg. On his right wrist rests an arm sheath in the color of red; the edges of the arm sheath being a purple color. On his shoulders rests purple leather shoulder pads connected together by a purple leather strap, and on his hips rests purple leather guards with white fur edging. He carries both a bow and arrows, and a hunting knife along with a spear on occasions when hunting.
Background: Like most in his clan, Pxan’ok knows of the Sky People from stories or the scars present on those who went to war with the Omaticaya against the Sky People long ago. Because of the stories and the overall attitude towards the Sky People, he has a hate towards any and all humans. On a few occasions he’s gone out of his way to sabotage those who’ve come to Pandora for their own gain whether it be from ruining equipment, to scaring people or threatening them with death. Despite his want to kill all those who come onto Na’vi land, his parents have always kept him from doing so. Even though they too hate the Sky People with a passion, they know that killing will only make things worse for them in the end.
Being an only child, Pxan’ok was the pride and joy of his parents’ eyes. He was given all of their attention growing up as well as all of their training. Even though his parents loved him dearly, the training he was put through was intense. At a young age he was pitted against other young children in random fights as was the Txampay’awkx way both for entertainment and training. It was in these arena type fights that Pxan’ok learned to love fighting and warfare. Because of said fights, he grew to become a fierce warrior, equally as good with a bow or a club or sling. Everything there was to know about warfare, he knew.
In these battles and fights, Pxan’ok collected a plethora of scars across his body that he wore with pride as a fierce Na’vi warrior. None stood out more than his encounter with his ikran and tlqsaytan. Still, even with the fine warrior and hunter he turned out to be, not everything was peaceful and full of glory. There was one in the clan who saw him as a threat to their position in said clan. With how well Pxan'ok did in combat as well as hunting out on the open seas, he was quickly rising in rank, much to the chagrin of his childhood friend. For all he knew, Pxan'ok would cost him a chance at becoming olo’eyktan someday. Not that Pxan'ok had that in mind.
Because of this invisible challenge in rank, Pxan'ok was challenged to a duel by this trusted childhood friend. At first he thought nothing of it, trying to convince his friend that what he seemed to think and see was merely the workings of his mind, but there was no changing what he thought. Because of the way the clan worked and his friend's pride, Pxan'ok was forced into the duel.
At first his thoughts consisted of the duel being nothing more than child's play as it was when they were younger, but his friend had other ideas. Instead of stopping at first blood drawn, he continued to go for Pxan'ok, pinning him to the ground at one point with blade raised. He eventually came down with the blade close to Pxan'ok's throat, stabbing him in the left shoulder thankfully as Pxan'ok attempted to roll partly out of the way. At this point, it was clear this was a fight to the death. Consequently, the fight continued until his friend had been killed, leaving him with fresh wounds to mend, and a distrust of anyone he once considered a friend.
Family: Mother – Txantslusam Karyu (Wise teacher)
Father – Tsteu Txe'lan (Brave heart)
Personality: Pxan’ok tends to be a more serious type of Na’vi. He takes everything he does very seriously, even craftwork. On occasion he’ll be more aggressive or angry than what he really is due to the attack made on him by his own friend. His anger tends to surface when he’s disturbed during work or in deep concentration. Sometimes even those who try to befriend him get the cold shoulder. Mostly he uses his craftwork as a way to calm himself into the Na’vi he used to be. He tends to be a bit of a loner as well, keeping to himself or any of the close friends he’s managed to make. It takes a lot to make him smile or to make him laugh, but if people keep at it and earn his trust, he eventually gives in to telling his secrets and letting the true him out.
Abilities: A natural born warrior and a talented sea hunter. He’s great with a bow, club, sling, just about any weapon. Granted he can’t use the weapon perfectly when first given to him, but with time and practice, it becomes natural, like an extension of his body. He’s also very good at hunting out at sea as if he came from the water. He knows the best spots in the water for hunting, and his bond with his tlqsaytan is very strong, almost as if they were one and the same.
Strengths: He’s very strong willed and loyal. Those who earn his trust have a friend for life, and he’d do just about anything for his olo’eyktan and tsahik. He’s also very good at using weapons both for hunting and warfare; knowing which ones to use and when. Because of his skill with weapons, he’s one of the top warriors in his clan. He’s good at using his hands in crafting. A lot of what he makes is strong and won’t break easily.
Weaknesses: He’s a bit of a hot head when it comes to being annoyed, irritated, disturbed, etc. Because of his hot headedness, he often jumps to conclusions or snaps at innocent people when he doesn’t mean to. He doesn’t trust a lot of people. He normally shuts people out of his life or ignores them unless they worm their way under his skin by constantly trying to seek a friendship, or sometimes showing they mean no harm. He does have a weakness for women and children. He simply cannot ignore them when they need help or even if they just need to talk.
Ikran: Tumpin Trr’ong (Red, orange dawn/sunrise) is a red and yellow ikran with black accents. His bonding experience with Pxan’ok wasn’t exactly a walk in the park on Pxan’ok’s part. The problem was that Tumpin Trr’ong had a bit of an attitude. While most going through their trial of Iknimaya have a tough time bonding with their ikran, Pxan’ok was nearly killed by his. Consequently, Pxan’ok has a foot long gash crossing his chest diagonally after his experience with his ikran. The attitude stuck with Tumpin Trr’ong, though it’s usually only shown towards other Na’vi who can’t respect his personal space. Even now and then if Pxan’ok doesn’t bring his ikran a treat, he’ll get quite the snapping at. Regardless of his attitude problems, the bond he shares with Pxan’ok is solid, and often or not Tumpin Trr’ong is the only one who understands Pxan’ok.
Tlqsaytan: Txon’uk (night shadow) is a dark blue and purple tlqsaytan with a bright green dorsal fin, pelvic fin, pectoral fin, caudal fin, and anal fin. After going through both Iknimaya and Uniltaron, Pxan’ok was given the chance to become a sea hunter. His trip out to sea and across the deep chasm was a bit nerve racking as seeing down below into those dark depths was nearly impossible, but this was his chance to prove himself as a Na’vi and sea hunter. The waiting game for the right tlqsaytan to show itself to him and attack him was almost unbearable until Txon’uk showed herself. His first instinct was to move out of the way of her attack, but he stood his ground until she came upon him. It wasn’t a quick bonding as she grabbed him by the right calf, bearing her teeth down into his flesh, and dragging him under the water. From there it was a matter of keeping himself from struggling until she thought he was dead, letting go to tear flesh from bone when he struck, making the bond. He survived the trial and made it back to shore with Txon’uk, showing teeth mark shaped scars for the rest of his life.
