Character Name: Imali'Ka
Name meaning (if applicable): ''Guardian of Life''
Species: Na'Vi
Clan: Omaticaya
Occupation: Warrior/Healer
Age: 31 Years
Gender: Female
Eye color: Gold
Hair color: Black
Height: 10'1 ft
Weight: 240
Physical Description: Imali'Ka is a little on the tall side for a female Na'Vi but she is still lithe. She is built more like a hunter than a warrior, but the evidence of battle is still evident upon her skin. She has several thin scars on her arms and a small one below her left eye. In her hair she wears pale green beads here and there. At the base of the main braid which protects her queue there sits an ornately carved, metallic band. This was made for her by her previous mate before he died.
Background: She was the second child of her parents, and her older brother was favoured as a warrior for the clan. He would play fight with her as she grew older, and he was the one who gave her the first bade she ever owned, it was a small knife used primarily for carving, but Imali'Ka had felt like the greatest of all warriors when she held it in her small hands at the mere age of five years old. From there on she knew she wanted to become a warrior. As she grew older, the clan also saw how she had a great interest when it came to the properties of plants, and she was able to mix a powerful healing medicine at the age of nine years. So she began taking lessons with the clan healer aswell. At age sixteen she bonded with her ikran, Tao. An unlikely pair, it had to be said. The proud ikran nearly killed the young sixteen year old Imali'Ka at the time when she attempted to bond with him. She'd dangled perilously over the side of the cliff, clutching onto his tail while he tried to shake her free, before she finally hauled herself onto his back and managed to overpower the fiesty creature. During her training she'd come to take a fancy to one of the other warriors, Takulo'Txa. At age eighteen, the two of them mated. While some criticised the decision, both Imali'Ka and Takulo'Txa were convinced they would be together for life. A year later Imali'Ka had her first child, a daughter, who they called Amutuya.
When wandering the forest hunting for the clan at age twenty six, Imali'Ka had come across a young Tultxayo warrior fumbling through the forest. She'd watched him from the trees, curious. But immediately the huntress sprung to action when she saw in the foliage below a male thanator stalking him. By the time she reached the base of the floor, the thanator had launched an attack on the young warrior she would later know as Sei'Taro. The beast had taken a swipe at his chest and he was bleeding heavily from it. She'd hit the thanator with her bow to distract it, and when it turned on her she met its hows and growling with a threat display she'd learned from watching these creatures in the past. When it took a swipe at her, she had cut open its shoulder, a warning. Then, she drover the creature away back into the bushes, before turning to tend to the young warrior. Not wanting to fix the wound up with the thanator still close by, she lead him back to the clan camp. There she tended his wounds along with the other healer. After spending some days there, a scout from Sei'Taro's clan turned up in their camp asking after one of their missing warriors. Sei'Taro was brought out from the healer where he had been staying and then he decided to return home. Before he left, Imali'Ka gave him her necklace with the claw on it as a momento, and also a good luck charm to keep him out of any more trouble.
During the next year the Omaticaya clan gained knowledge of an abandoned military base from the time of the great great battle. Curiosity had sparked in the minds of the youngsters of the clan, and that ment Imali'Ka's daughter. Amutuya was eight years old at the time, and she and three other young Na'Vi from the clan went to investigate the ruins. The base was primarily underground

Ikrans Name: Tao
Ikrans Gender: Male
Ikrans Appearance: Tao is large and a good eighteen years old. His hide is patterned with dark navy and emerald colouring. In the prime of his life, the ikran male was sleek and handsome, and got along particularaly well with the females because of his eye-catching colouration. But now, after surving the accident at the abandoned military base, his hide is littered with scars. A number of old bullet wounds are seen on his left wing, meaning flying has become very difficult for the ikran and he usually remains in the hometrees roost. He has the build of a once powerful creature, the muscle still evident, but now he is alot more docile.
Ikrans Personality: Before the accident, Tao was a cocky and agressive ikran, he would pick needless fights simply to obtain dominance among the others. Not even na'vi could approach him without the risk of losing a finger, he'd snap at anything that came too close to him. The only one he would allow near him was his rider, but that was only after the rite of passage, which certainly was something to remember. Since the accident, Tao has calmed considerably but still defends his space from the younger ikrans simply to ensure he isn't displaced from the ranks. He is still a very proud creature, and stands his ground in a confrontation despite the old injuris to his wing. His rider now only rides him for short journeys, or simply when she wants to spend some time with him. He is gentle around the na'vi and to a certain degree is his also protective of his rider. He has an uncanny ability to know when she needs help, or at least be in the right place at the right time, as he was the one who saved her from death during the scout of the old military base.
